Wangka Maya worked with the WA Museum on the writing of a book about cultural storehouses, 'For Now and Forever: An analysis of current and emerging needs for Aboriginal cultural stores and repositories in WA'. The book is available as a free down load on http://www.collectionsaustralia.net/sector_info_item/101.
The book provides much information about the development and building of solid storehouses for cultural artefacts and will be very useful for many Indigenous organisations in preserving their cultural resources. Authors Greg Wallace and Kim Akerman continue to work with Wangka Maya on the feasibility study for a Port Hedland Cultural Centre and Research Institute for Aboriginal Studies.
