Cultural Awareness Training

Interested in learning about Aboriginal culture? Then book into our Cultural Awareness Training.

We offer our CAT in an informal & relaxed atmosphere with short presentations and time to ask questions. We aim to promote greater understanding of Pilbara Aboriginal language and culture and reconciliation.

Here are some topics that will be covered during the day:

• Aboriginal Culture (skin groups/story telling/ languages & much more)

• History of the Pilbara

• Communication Styles

• Working with Aboriginal People

Training also includes:

• Workbooks & materials

• Lunch and Morning Tea

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be billed the full course rate and cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be billed half the course rate.
